Description of Product/Terms & Conditions

Paint Class is a private, not for profit miniature model painting class (including Warhammer) that rents the hall space from Boomerang Community Centre every Monday evening, from 6pm to 8pm. The class is not affiliated to the community centre and is independent of the staff employed there.

Paint Class is £8 per class, payable by cash or through SumUp. Each month there will be a new project. Details of the class timetable can be found on the Paint Class Facebook page or a copy can be requested by using the 'Contact Us' form on the home page.

For the weekly fee each individual will be given all the materials required for that month’s project as well as tuition. This includes the model required for the project as well as a set of paintbrushes, a water pot, tile palette and access to the stock of paints held by the Paint Class. It is understood that all students should respect the materials and keep them in a clean and tidy manner.

Students are welcome to bring their own materials/models but they do so at their own risk. Paint Class staff will not be held responsible for any breakages or losses.

Paint Class is not a care/childcare service. Any child under 14 attending the class must be accompanied by a parent/guardian/carer. If a person attending class has any learning difficulties or special needs that mean they require assistance with tasks such as reading/listening to instructions, focusing on tasks, general housekeeping such as keeping paints/brushes in an acceptable condition, socialising and behaviour in class etc they should be accompanied by a family member/support worker. Parents/guardians/support workers will not have to pay the weekly class fee unless they wish to undertake their own project. They are welcome to assist their supported person with that individual’s project. Paint Class staff will not be held responsible for any student’s behaviour while attending class.

A small tuckshop of tea/coffee/juice and biscuits will be available to all students in return for a small donation to help replenish stocks.
